Hi Jo, Sorry I haven't gotten back to you sooner, but we just had a Larkin Reunion this weekend. This is the first I have had a chance to read email. I am sorry to say no, but there is relation that I am researching in Ripley County by the surnames of Proctor, Schmitt and Carter. Carter county is names after one of my husbands ancestors, Zimri Allen Carter. Dr Samuel Atwater Proctor and his son Dr. Carter Atwater Proctor were physicians in Doniphan MO. Dolly Belle Schmitt married Dr Carter A Proctor after World War 1 and lived in Doniphan. I am doing research right now on Sullivan City, Franklin County MO., Doniphan, Ripley County MO., and Carter County. So far it has been slow going, but the people in the Ripley County message boards are the best I have had the pleasure of meeting. Linda
