    2. Verdaine Hooper
    3. Matt, did you send these bios to the list? I know that you have been swamped because of your generosity (which I really appreciate your offer and time!) and I thought that maybe I deleted them inadvertently.

    1. Wm Proctor and Z A Cater Bio please, Reminicent History of the Ozark Region
    2. Matt, If you have time, would it be possible to look up William Proctor's bio? My family is related to both, William Proctor (Ripley County) and Z A Carter (Carter County). They are both Great grandparents of my in-laws. Carter Atwater Proctor married Minerva (Nellie) Eleanor Carter. They had two daughters, Betty and Peggy. Peggy passed away in 1960's, and my in-laws are the son and daughter of Peggy. I would appreciate any information you can find on these families. Thank you, Linda lgtl04@aol.com

    2. In a message dated 6/2/2005 8:39:32 PM Central Standard Time, jeannierabbitt@jcn.net writes: If anyone is researching these ladies - I have an old photo which is dated 1914 with their pictures on it along with my grandmother, Mary Helen Catlett. I know my grandmother, Mary Catlett, lived in Ripley county most of her early to young adulthood life. She must have received a camera or bought one somehow, and she has several pictures of the Ripley County area left to me. This particular one is identified with two of her friends, Edna Pierce & Ada Parrish. If anyone out there is interested, I will gladly send a scanned copy of the photo. ==== MORIPLEY Mailing List ==== Homepage for Ripley Co GenWeb site _http://www.rootsweb.com/~moripley/_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~moripley/) ============================== Find your ancestors in the Birth, Marriage and Death Records. 2. Donna Carter
    3. Jr., I have James Honeycutt b abt 1862 Missouri married to (Dolla) Susan Forrest (b. abt 1865 KY). They were married Ripley County Missouri Oct. 15 1882. They had daughter Ella May ( 1883) and son Williard ( 1885). By 1900 census I don't find James or (Dolla ; Dolly) Susan Forrest Honeycutt. I found Ella and "Willie" both with other families. Ella is listed "adopted" and Willie listed as "orphaned". I have no parents for James or Dolla. There may have been another daughter named Cora. Still tracking that also. Earl shows up on the 1920 census as the son of Delmar and Ora Honeycutt in Montier Twp, Shannon County, MO. This marriage was short lived. 2. Becky Pyland Davis
    3. Two weeks ago while in the Pine, Ripley County MO area, I visited several cemeteries and took several photos of tombstones. For some reason, I had it in my mind that someone was looking for tombstones of the KEEL surname. If anyone is interested in the photos I took at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, in Briar, Ripley County MO with the KEEL surname, let me know and I will get the photos scanned and sent to you. Beck

    2. I got this off a google search - These are minutes from the court of appeals. Minor information, but it might help in your search overall. Supreme Court of Missouri en banc October 3, 2000 SC82963State ex rel. Dallas Delay, Petitioner, vs. Nineteenth Judicial Circuit, et al., Respondents. Petition for writ of habeas corpus denied.

    2. Sheila, Thanks for that information. I think I will stop in Van Buren on my way to Missouri and do a little research. Anything else that you might think of or that your dad remembers would be appreciated as it may be a help in locating things. I'm really hoping that a relative of Sara Duvall Kitterman may pop up and have oooodles of information on the Duvall's.......... Marie

    1. Re: [MORIPLEY] FW: Duvall's....
    2. Debbie, Very good question!! I wish I knew. I believe they were still in Mississippi County. However, their oldest daughter, Arkansas Caroline, was married in Howell County in 1884. I don't have a clue to John, their second child. Their third child was born in East Prairie in 1870. Apparently the other children were also born in Mississippi County as well. John B. Duvall, b. in Ark. Mary b. ca 1840 (sister to Louis) married William Roach 10 Jan 1860 in St.Genevieve County. I understand from a relative that William was a blacksmith. Louis, b. ca 1838 in Tennessee, according to the 1850 census for Mississippi County. Thanks, Marie
