    2. Jo, I am related to Bishop Lewis and Delilah as well. I could swear I had the information on where they are buried but I have been searching for weeks and can't find that information. From memory, I can tell you that Delilah remarried after Bishop's death, to a man with the last name of James. I have a picture of her with her second husband and step-daughter on my site. Also from memory, I believe that Delilah and Bishop are not buried together, I am pretty sure that Delilah is buried somewhere in AR and Bishop is buried in MO. I will keep looking for my documentation so I can give you the whole story for sure. Sorry it took me so long to write back to you. 2. Mary, There is no obituary for Susan Edwards about 1910 - however there is the following that's close . . . 1907 - 12 Dec . . . Mrs. Joe Edwards, dau of Mrs. King, died 4 Dec. Leaves husband and baby. (Oxley News) This book only covers to 1910, so it wouldn't have one for the 1940 person. Pam Smith

    2. Linda Murray
    3. No, I meant to write 1961. I ordered a death certificate from Missouri (after getting the date of death from a kind soul on the list who looked up her grave marker for me). Missouri says she died in South Carolina instead, so ordered a death certificate through VitalChek (usually really fast) and not a peep from them as of yet. I do know her parents' names, place of burial, etc., but am hoping that "informant" information (or obituary) will turn up the final missing sister's family. I know that she had a niece who lived in the Florence, SC, area whose last name was Bellflower. If she was visiting the niece when she died, hopefully that niece will turn out to be the informant for the death certificate information, and I will have something to work on there. Am hoping that if no obituary turns up in South Carolina, one may be found in Missouri. She was Frances "Fannie" Murray Ponder, second wife of Willis Edward Ponder, who lived on until 1980, as I recall. Am assuming that her funeral would have been held in Missouri prior to burial, and that some sort of mention of her death in South Carolina would make the newspaper. I apologize for the typo (a common one for me, it seems). Thanks again for the help, Linda ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, September 19, 2002 12:28 PM Subject: [MORIPLEY] re: obituary lookup - Linda > Linda, > Did you mean to write 1861? That would show parents names possibly and also where the person was buried and what they died from. Pam Smith
