    3. Joanne: You can probably obtain the death certificate from the Missouri Bureau of Vital Records. Their mailing address is: P O Box 570 Jefferson City, MO 65102. You will need to furnish the following information: First, middle and last name of the deceased Date of death Place of death (city and/or county) Your relationship to the deceased Your reason for requesting the record They have death records from 1910 to the present, according to the information I have. Their fee is $10 per copy for a five year search. I just received four certificates from them earlier this month. They arrived in about two weeks. As for the funeral homes, you might want to check the Ray County website. It's possible that one of the Richmond funeral homes was involved. The Thurman Funeral Home records are not yet available online, but you might find someone to do a look-up. Best of luck in your search.
