Hi Chris, According to "The O'Dell Family" by Marion O'Dell, pg. 14. Simon O'Dell b. ca 1837, Ray Co., Mo. married Rachel Tarwater 5/5/1856 in Ray Co., Mo. They had the following children. Sarah O'Dell Calesttine O'Dell Austin O'Dell Ellen O'Dell Hiram O'Dell Catherine O'Dell Joseph O'Dell George O'Dell Jenny O'Dell Flossie O'Dell Lee O'Dell Simon O'Dell is the son of Caleb O'Dell b. 10/12/1807, Tenn. He married Jane O'Dell b. 1809, Tenn on 12 Feb, 1828, in Ray Co., Mo. They had 12 children of whom Simon was the fifth. Hope this helps. I have recently discovered that a Sarah MOYER is supposedly listed in a Ray County Cemetery Book Volume I-III. I know her son's lived in RAY Co.( Benjamin, John, William, and James.) But she has never appeared on any record I have been abe to find. Could someone with access to these books please see what information these Volumes might contain? Grateful for any effort!
