Clevenger, 92, of Richmond, Mo., died Saturday, Febv. 26, 2005, at Shirley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond. Mrs. Clevenger was born March 8, 1912 in Braymer, Mo., to Chester and Louise May (Pope) Divelbiss. She married Eugene Whitney of Braymer, Mo., who preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 1982. She later married Herbert L. Clevenger of Braymer, MO., on May 5, 1982. He preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2003. She is survived by two step-sons, Roger Clevenger, Lathrop, Mo., and Oscar Clevenger, Clinton, Mo,; one step-daughter, Patricia Kelley, Springfield, Mo.; five sisters-in-law, Maxine Hawkins, Norborne, Mo., Louise Shaver, Fort Smith, Ark,; Nadine Silkwood, Chillicothe, Mo., Mildred Redman, Laurie, Mo., and Olive May Clevenger, Braymer; and one brother-in-law and sister-in -law, Bart and Mary Clevenger, Braymer. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs.Cleventer was a member of the Braymer Christian Church. She lived in the Braymer and Richmond areas most of her life. She was a graduate of the Braymer High School and a homemaker. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Evergreen Cemetery Association. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Braymer.
