I knew about the Clevenger book and took a chance because the Clevengers were such a large family and were in Ray County from the beginning. Almost everyone around here is related to them in one way or another. The Clevengers were in Ray, Carroll, Caldwell, and Daviess counties. You can go to the following website and find the original land entry for Ichabod Hall: glorecords.blm.gov This is the website for the General Land Office Records. When you get to ther homepage, click on SEARCH LAND PATENTS. You can print off an actual copy of the record. There are two listed for Ichabod.
