There is also another son named William C. Taylor. I know that James Jr. and Williams were born in Ray County in 1824 and 1825 respectively. I'm trying to find out more about James Sr. They all migrated to Oregon around 1850 and settled in Benton County (near Corvallis) and were early settlers there. Does anyone know of these Taylors?

I am looking for the parents of Julia Ann Taylor married in Ray County MO 1840 to John Phillips. Julia Ann was supposedly born in KY and according to family married there but I found a marriage license issued in Ray County. Have no other clues to her ancestry. She and her husband migrated to Oregon in 1852 and stayed with relatives in Marion County Oregon. Would love to more about your Taylors. Also have 1830 census for Ray county would be glad to do look ups.
