I am just starting on our family genealogy and have come across the Fords in clippings passed down from my Great Grandmother. No photo's tho. I don't know if you've found anything about Elias but if you have I would love to hear it. From what I've found in the Census and from the newspapers clippings he was brother to Bob and Charley Ford. According to family stories (and backed up somewhat by the news clippings) we are descended from their sister Martha (Ford) Bolton who kept house for him around 1880. He, along with other members of that family had to testify at Frank James' trial and that can be found on the web at civilwarsstlouis.com (I think).
