I find in 1920 census of Shelby County (Clay Township) MO enumerated on 9th Jan 1920 the following: Joseph Jones Age 76 Born MO Farmer Both Parents born MO Ella Mary Jones Wife Age 17 Born MO Father born IL, Mother born MO. Also in same census, same county and township are: G.B. Broomfield Age 39 and wife, Annie, Age 46. Annie born MO and both parents born MO, however shows G.B. as being born in MO instead of IL and both his parents born MO. Could be something to check out. Her name is May E Brumfield born 1903 Nov 7th. She used to tell us she was married at 15 to an older man that lived nearby. So this marriage would have been in late 1918 or 1919.
