I am looking for descendants of people buried in the Cramer Cemetery, in Ray County (Clark/Cramer/Van Wall), on property that used to belong to the CRAMER (CREAMER?) family, I believe. I just visited this cemetery, and it is in very poor condition. If anyone descending from these Pioneers would like to join me in finding a way to rehab this cemetery, and keep it maintained, I would very much like to hear from you. Some of the people buried there are: Jesse Lee and Lizzie PARDUE CLARK, Jane and Doctor John CLARK, Susannah MCDONALD CLARK, Susannah MCGEE ROBERTSON, James WALLACE, Perneta PARKER, Doctor Anderson and Amanda JONES CLARK, Jane and Nathan SCHOOLER, Eliza, Irena and Joshua GRITHFIELD, Anna CRAMER, Della CLARK SMITH, Hiram J. and Elizabeth THOMAS CLARK, Jacob and Sarah CRAVEN, Anna CRAMER (wife of J.H.) Ruth CREAMER (wife of John H. CREAMER), Lizzie and Van WALL, Emma and J. KELSAY. Also, any ideas on where to start on a project like this would be appreciated. It looks like the earliest burial here was about 1843, the last was 1938. It looks like the oldest person buried here was born in 1803 and came to Ray County in about 1832. I descend from the Clarks who are buried here, Hiram and Elizabeth, and Hiram's mother, Susannah. The Historical/Genealogical Society has a transcription of this cemetery, or I would be happy to fill in dates for anyone buried there, from my transcription. Ronda Culp McCrary
