Surnames: Kelly, Norwood Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XNB.2ACI/421 Message Board Post: Seeking information on a Samuel Earl KELLY born in Richmond, October 13, 1866, died in Wyoming 1960. While Samuel lived in Montana he adopted a son from a family with the surname of NORWOOD, we are told. This boy was thus named Samuel Earl Kelly, Jr. They moved to Wyoming in the late teens or early 1920's. There are several mysteries surrounding this and we would appreciate any help anyone has to offer. PS: We do know that Samuel, Sr was married at least twice, and that there was at least one other child born to these NORWOODS, a daughter. The birth record for young Samuel was revised in 1978, but we are sure if it was the form or the information that was revised. Thanks, Diane
