    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XNB.2ACI/294.1.1 Message Board Post: Carla: You have surely provided me with much information with your posting! I had little about P.M. Pinckard and his wife, Mary William Young as this is a somewhat lateral (yet very important) line. I will have to do some quick reviews of Ray County materials I have, but it seems to me that P.M. Pinckard, the professor, was a highly respected teacher in Ray County. I will look through my local history books and get back with you. You also mention another name, Rainwater, which I have in two different lines of mine (maternal and paternal). Do you have any information on Mary Rainwater's parents or her birthdate? I have Seborn S. Young (a brother to Warren A. Young, hence brother-in-law to Harriet V. Foushee, the interviewee) married to Catherine C. Rainwater, b. Nov. 11, 1835, d.May 31, 1907 in Ray County, MO., married Nov. 16, 1851 in Millville, Ray County MO. Catherine C. Rainwater was a daughter of Reverend Moses Rainwater (b.1815 d. 1895) (some information on him in 1881 History of Ray County-I'll look up if you have interest) and his wife Elizabeth. I have as a sister to Catherine C. Rainwater, Alice M. Rainwater w/no additional information other than Alice married a ? Sanderson. I also have Harriet Francis Rainwater (b. 1845, d. 1922 daughter of Aaron Rainwater of North Carolina and Mary Elliot of TN), married to Solomon Jones, Jr. in 1869. Harriet Rainwater and husband also of Knoxville, Ray Co! unty, MO. As promised I will get back to you ASAP on any Pinckard information I might have. Would appreciate any information you have. Thanks for YOUR response to my message.
