Thanks Lisa for the list of things to think about. This may get me inspired to start making notes about the events you mentioned and the effects of them on my life. Sometimes we get so busy searching our roots and wondering why they didn't leave diaries, journals, any kind of notes to tell us about their lives that we forget some day we will be the past. I always wondered why some of our ancestors came out to Oregon then I think do our children even know why we moved from the Willamette Valley in Oregon to East of the Cascades to Central Oregon and I bet they have no idea.
