Specifically, I'm researching Samuel Russell, b. 1839 and married to a Ruth(a) Fisher b. 1840. They had at least 4 children-John, Samuel, Seaman, and Susana (married my husband's ggrandfather, John Huston who's family also lived in Ray County. She died in 1899 in Council Grove, Kansas. We can't find Samuel Russell after about 1866-70. In the 1870 census Ruth was married to a Rogers/Payson, James. It's very hard to read, but the children are listed there. Does this tie into your Russell family anywhere? Vanessa Woodford
