I went to the site where the information came from and only this to say. I live in North Kansas City and the commute is not far even to Richmond. However, our newsmen, newspapers and obviously the author of this article do not know everything. As I said I live in North Kansas City and none of the above listed know the difference between North Kansas City and Kansas City North and this irritates a lot of we Nortowners. If anything newsworthy that is like crimes of any sort are reported they always say North Kansas City and most are Kansas City North. Even businesses have misused it in their company names. North Kansas City is 4 quare miles starting at the ASB brige (now called Heart of America bridge and ends at 32nd which the end of Burlington and changing names to North Oak Trafficway. At any rate, as I posted earlier my father was born in Elkhorn and I remember it for that. I never heard him ever speak of any mills but he was not born until 1902. Vivian
