Nothing was turned up, even though the SS Death Index, indicated that Virgil's last residence was in Kansas City, in Jackson County. We have found nothing for his wife, Paulina. I am assuming that she died before the records that are available on-line. We've hit dead end after dead end. My half- brother and half-sister never saw Danny. Bob and his mother, Rose Etta Wall were living in Kansas City when he was born. The rest of the family was living in Florida. The only picture known to be Danny is one when he was still an infant, about six months old. Bob joined the Army in Aug. 1947. He and Rose Etta were divorced about that time. My half- sibling's mother died in October before Bob died in December of 1951. Both of them moved frequently, and didn't have Rose Etta's address. The last known address was for Danny in care of Virgil in 1949. It was in Kansas City. This was on Bob's military records for pay and insurance purposes.
