Hi Gary, Sorry I can't help you much with John Taylor. I do not have a death date for his wife Jane Shackelford Taylor. I have four children listed for them, sons Obadiah and Jack, said to both be captains in the Confederate Army and daughters Mary and Jane. I have not done any confirming of this.
