I do not have a Louisa McDonald married to a John Taylor in my records but I am looking for Taylors who left Virginia and went to Ray County. Three brothers, John, Daniel and Mumford left Pittsylvania County VA at different times in the late 1830's and all settled near Orrick. They all raised large families. Would love to know if you make any connection with them.

Any more information on John, Daniel and Mumford Taylor from Pittsylvania county VA: their wive's names; names of children. John Phillips who married Julia Ann Taylor 15 Feb 1840 in Ray County MO left Kentucky sometime in the 1830's. I have found his family but the Taylor family escapes me.
