I don't know, but my great great grandmother, on my mother's side, was a Clevenger. Her name was Sarah Clevenger She married William Hunt. They had a daughter, Palina who married John Stone Joiner on August 30, 1876 in Ray County. They had 2 daughters, Minnie Florence (my grandmother) and Sarah Elizabeth. Minnie Florence Joiner married William Clyde Ogg and Sarah Elizabeth Joiner married Albert Green. The only other Clevenger I am aware of with a connection to my family is a Grover Clevenger. My aunt, Lou Emma Ogg Keel Jones, daughter of Wm Clyde and Minnie Florence Ogg was a school teacher in a little country school in Vibbard. She lived in the home of Grover Clevenger and his wife. My mom does not remember there being any other connection with those Clevengers and our family. My info is probably not very helpful, but thought I'd pass it on, just in case.
