Hi Joy, Thanks so much. Do you have a source? I seem to remember seeing a census record, probably 1880 with what looked like "Edward" in the first name. It was difficult to read, and I thought it might be a misprint, anyway, as the family was sure that his name was Edwin. In fact, two descendants (my wife included) were named after him.
