I have a copy of a deed from Ray Co., MO Book 28, Page 238, dated May 26, 1882. In it, James Hughes, Thomas and Lucinda McGinnis sold a piece of land in Hardin, Ray Co., to my husband's ancestor, Julius Tombs. According to the description, it was close to Olive and Third Streets.
