They had (3) children: Dora A. Ray (Ehlers)(b. 1885) Emmitt Ray (b.abt.1886-87) and Irene Elizabeth Ray (Fee)(b.1888). John Ray past away abt. 1890 cause unknown. John's Wife Signora (Jones) Ray left Tenn to stay with unknown family in Mo. Some time later, Signora (Jones) Ray was unable to take care of her children and put them in a St.Louis orphanage on Aubert Ave. St.louis,Mo. Signora (Jones) Ray probably remarried and had step children, one thought to be named (Jopoline Bell). My grand mother, Irene Elizabeth (Ray) Fee left the orphanage and placed with Mrs. Lucy Davis of Callaway County, Mo. on a 1000 Acre farm and worked for the Davis's till she turned age (21) and married Charles Mclelland Fee, there children are: Lowell Fee, Lucy Francis(Herndon) Fee, Dorothy (Drowns) Fee, Anna Mae (Finazzo) Fee, (Billy) William James Fee and Emily Grace (Griffin) Fee.
