I am seeking information on Adam Shanks who I believe was born 18 Sep 1795 The information I have is He married his first wife Susannah Sharfey 4 Nov 1816 in Washington Co., TN Susannah was supposed to have died March 18th 1851. Where is she buried? They had 7 children who moved to Ray Co. prior to 1843, I only know one, Noah Shanks Who were there other children? He married second to Margaret Lewis a widow (no dates or information) He married his third wife Catherine (Thomas) Adams 16 Mar 1854 in Ray County, MO. 1870 census he was in Knoxville, Ray Co. Missouri with his wife Catherine, I believe living either with or next door to Catherine's son by a previous marriage, George Adams and his family. That is all I have, I am very interested in where he and his three wives are buried as well as any other pertinent information regarding Adams life in Ray County. I have no information regarding his parents or the parents of any of his three wives. Any help would be appreciated. Jackie Whedbee
