Surnames: Stephenson, Griffith, Jones Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/XNB.2ACI/732 Message Board Post: I have discovered that David and his sister, Sadie Stephenson, lost their parents when David was 3 years of age in Jefferson County, Ky. He supposedly came to the Ray--Carroll Counties' area with his paternal aunt, Polly Stephenson, ca. 1828. It is not known if Sadie came with the other two Stephensons or not. I am trying to find anyone that may have known of David & Polly, and perhaps Sadie, also. David married Louisa Griffith in 1856, in Nodaway County. The couple had a son, James Andrew, who married Rebecca Jennie Jones ca. 1880, in Carroll County. Any help someone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dennis.
