    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Greenlee, Tarwater Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/XNB.2ACI/487.1.1.1.3.1 Message Board Post: I found Willis Greenlee m. Mrs. Martha Wilson 7 Jan 1849 Ray Co. MO Is this your ancestor? also Willis L Greenlee witnessed the will of Thomas B. Martin in Ray Co., 8 Apr 1848. On 1 Aug 1831 Elizabeth's father (Lewis Tarwater) mentions her in his will as Elizabeth Greenlee. I'm not certain that she would have been mentioned in his will in Aug. if she had died before that date. Usually her children would have been listed as heirs after her death. Your connection seems valid to me. I'll do some add'l research here locally & see if I can come up with anything to prove or disprove your info. Sometimes I'll find stuff locally in misc. records when they're not online.
