    1. [MORAY-CGA] marriage records, Ray Co
    2. Looking for information on a marriage between Edwin Clay BABER and Lucy BALES. This marriage must have taken place in Ray Co around 1890. Are there any records still in existance from that time? I'm in Virginia and don't have ready access to info from MO. Thanks, Mark

    2. janae gough
    3. I am looking for any Querry's from the 1700-1800's. I am descended from William and Mary Jane Groomer m 27 feb 1841 Clinton County, Missouri They lived in Gentry County most of their marriage in Mcfall or Niggerheal. (I have their marriage license) it is said that he was buried in the Niggerheal Cemetary (does anyone know the location of this?) abt 1860 and she was burried in Daniel Cemetary 1884. She was raised in Kearney part of the time in the birth home of Jesse James (her father Jacob Gromer sold the house to the James). I am unsure of any of Williams ancestors. There was a man named William listed in the Revolutionary War pension records that resided in Ray county (I am wondering if this could be his grandfather) ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APRECIATED JANAE QUERRY-GOUGH

    3. Pat, I have been told by someone who lives there the cemetery is in bad shape and many of the headstones have disintegrated. I live about 500 miles away, but do plan on going there in the next couple of months. I have a lot of info on this family, but need to visit to make certain there isn't more. I was told there was nothing at the court house on these people, but I know there has to be records of land, marriages, etc. I will feel better getting the info myself, then I will know for certain. If you wnt me to search something for you, let me know and I will do it when I go. 1. [MORAY-CGA] James Hill and Nancy Coleman
    2. Hello Ray County, The inquiry I'm making is about the family of James Hill and Nancy Coleman. The family story is that they left Jefferson County, TN and flatboated to Missouri with James's Uncle Abraham Hill, Abraham's sons John and Samuel and the Neff brothers. Some of James and Nancy's children's births are in Saline County, others in Ray. And I believe many of the family are buried in the Hill Cemetery (again without notes to make sure!). When Carroll County was split from Ray County, the family address changed although the land probably did not, so it may be that the Hill Cemetery was in Carroll County. My husband Joe is descended from James and Nancy Coleman Hill's son Daniel Nodding Hill who married Sarah Broyles, their son Andrew Jackson Hill who married Katherine (Katie) Lothian, their daughter Blanche Gertrude Hill who married Nathaniel Mathews, their daughter Rutha Edythe Mathews who married Joseph L. Comp Sr. Rutha Mathews and Joe Comp Sr. were the parents of Joe. We're interested in the parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, and any descendants of James Hill and Nancy Coleman. Hoping we'll meet some of you. Thank you!
