It's very difficult to locate. I mowed it a couple years ago but I don't anything's been done to it recently, so it's grown over with weeds.

    1. [MORAY-CGA] Enon and Bogart/Clevenger Cemeteries
    2. Hello Everyone, I always get there by taking N highway to Greenwood road and then over to Aldrich Road. N highway runs from Excelsior Springs to 210 highway. Enon Cemetery is on Aldrich road. Greenwood Road is the road that the old Greenwood School sat on the corner of and it runs east and west across N highway. If you turn east onto Greenwood road off of N highway it is just a short distance maybe a 1/4 of a mile to Aldrich road. Then take a left onto Aldrich Road. It is maybe another 1/2 of a mile on Aldrich Road to Enon Cemetery. It will be on the left side of the road. The cemetery is on a hill but some of the graves slope down toward the road especially on the left side of the cemetery. Greenwood road may also be called 108th Street as my Microsoft Trips and Streets says but I have always known it as Greenwood Road. I have been to Enon Cemetery many times and was just there this past summer. When you get there make sure that you look in the mail box that is located up in the cemetery itself. There is information there regarding who is on the cemetery board with names and phone numbers. Thanks for the info, Barbara, on the location of Bogart Cemetery. I had not even heard of that cemetery. I will have to check it out. Is it a very big cemetery? Do you have any surnames of persons buried there? Hope this info helps someone out. 1. [MORAY-CGA] ENON CEMETERY
    2. Hello Everyone, There is, indeed, an Enon Cemetery. It is very near the Ray/Clay county line. I cannot remember which county it is in for sure but I believe that it is in Clay county. To get to Enon Cemetery, take N highway south out of Excelsior Springs going toward Orrick. Turn left onto Greenwood road. Then take a left on the next road that you come to.......I believe that it is Aldrich Road. Follow this road, I am not sure how far, but Enon Cemetery will be on the left hand side of the road. There used to be a church there years ago but it is long since gone now. It is a very neat little cemetery and pretty well taken care of. To get to Union Baptist Church and Cemetery, you would take N highway south out of Excelsior Springs. There will be a sign, I believe, directing you to Union Baptist Church. Stay on N highway on past Greenwood road and it should be the next left hand turn, I think. As I said.....there should be a sign directing you to Union Baptist Cemetery. Union Baptist Cemetery is across the road from the Church and it is well taken care of as well. On the GNIS website the old Siegel Cemetery is listed as Turner Cemetery. I have contacted them about this error and they told me that I need to take a picture of a sign or something like that and send it to them and then they will change the name of the cemetery on their website. Just giving you this information in case someone is looking for the location of the Siegel Cemetery and having problem. It is fairly close to Enon Cemetery. I know all the roads in that area like the back of my hand because my grandparents lived in that area and I spent summers with them and my cousins. The problem is that I am not all that familiar with the actual names of the roads. Hope this helps someone out. Patsy Dene Turner Carnoali

    3. Try Clay County, next door to Ray County. Although it is not listed on the webpage for Clay Genweb page, there is an Enon Cemetery according to this info: ii. DEE WILLIAM GREGG, b. September 29, 1879, MO; d. August 31, 1958, Enon Cemetery, MO; m. FANNY ESTER DECKER, April 07, 1901; b. August 22, 1881, Washington Township, MO; d. Enon Cemetery, MO. and MARY ANN "POLLY" O'DELL, Born August 13, 1804, Tenn, died August 11, 1897, a daughter of SIMON O'DELL and MARY ELIZABETH TURNER; married March 31, 1825, in Ray County, Missouri, WILLIAM HUTCHINGS/HUTCHINS, born Feb. 13, 1803, Tenn., occupation farmer, died March 31, 1877, Clay County, Missouri; Both buried Enon cemetery, Clay County, Mo. and MATILDA O'DELL, born 2-20-1802, Tenn, died June 13, 1868; a daughter of SIMON O'DELL. and MARY ELIZABETH TURNER, married Feb. 12, 1825, in Ray County, Missouri, MOSE HUTCHINGS/HUTCHINS, born May 19, 1796, died August 21, 1877, Both buried Enon Cemetery, Clay County, Mo. MOSE HUTCHINS was the son of SMITH HUTCHINS and MISS BULLARD. There are a couple of cemeteries listed as "unknown" at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/mo/clay/clay.htm Try them to see if a name you are looking for appears in the transcription. ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mo/clay/cemeteries/unknown.txt ftp://ftp.rootsweb.com/pub/usgenweb/mo/clay/cemeteries/unknown2.txt If the cemetery is in Washington Township, Clay County, you should find it near Missouri City.
