Since I couldn't find him in the 1911 Canadian census, I checked the 1912 Toronto City directory (www.archive.org - the 'read online' version is the best), and there was a John Watson, occupation 'cond' boarding at 64 Hillsboro Ave. I looked up that address in the 1911 census and found a John Wilson, born Apr 1878, born Scotland, occupation streetcar conductor, who immigrated in 1902. If you look closely at the image - the 'l' might actually be a 't', and the birth date matches. No sign of a child. http://www.automatedgenealogy.com/census11/SplitView.jsp?id=81749 Robin -----Original Message----- From: moray-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:moray-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Mandy Wilson Sent: January-04-10 4:50 PM To: moray@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MORAY] maggie findlay Goldie / Robin Many thanks for your advice.
