I have a great great grandmother Hellen Keir Hendry born at Blackarlot, Duffus, Morayshire in 1810. Her mother died and she was raised by an uncle at Kinloss Abbey. Her father was James Hendry (his ancestry is unknown) and he apparently disappeared after the death of his wife Jean Keir. Any information appreciated of his life before or after this marriage.
