If you mean FreeBMD, or its mirror on Ancestry, this is exclusively for England and Wales. For Scotland, the authoritative and most comprehensive site is www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk which isn't free, but has the advantage that you can download images of actual certificates. The International Genealogical Index (IGI) at www.familysearch is free, and has good but not comprehensive coverage until about 1875, but not any later than that. There are some sites with BMD information, but they're very hit and miss as they depend on people having submitted information, and then still being contactable.
