Father: John Ross, b 1816 in Rosshire, Nigg; died 1891 at Rafford Mother: Elizabeth Rose McKillican, b. 1815 in Croy, Nairnshire; died 1907 at Rafford Children: 1. Margaret Ross b. 1840, Kinloss, Morayshire 2. Helen Ross b. 1842, Kinloss, Morayshire; died 1890 at Rafford 3. Elizabeth Rose b. 1844 in Forres, Morayshire 4. Jane Ross b. 1845 in Forres, Morayshire died 1890 in Forres, buried at Rafford 5. Alexander Ross b. 1849 in Rafford 6. Mary Ann Paul Ross b. 1852 in Rafford, Married David Murray Morton 7. Agnes McIntosh Ross b. 1856, Hill of Burgie, died 1939 in Nairn, Scotland (my wife's grandmother, her son, Alexander John McLeod, was born in 1879 in Rafford... no marriage to John McLeod [on Alexander's birth certificate] and both mother and so lived with John and Elizabeth Ross at their home in Rafford) 8. Hughina Ross b 1859 Hill of Burgie,Morayshire; d. 1947 in Dundee married John Gardiner

Claude, I have an Angus ROSS, shepherd of Cluny born 1890 son of Angus ROSS valet and Anne CHAPMAN married to Ann Logan Nairn CAMERON 25 .5.1911 at Meikle Branchill, Dallas. I have two reports, one that they went to America and the second that they went to Australia. However I haven't looked into this line to date, but would be interested to know if your Alexander ROSS had any children, particularly any called Angus! Any help with the ROSS family in the Cluny area would be much appreciated.
