Any information on a William Watson who was a china merchant who lived in Rothes in the 1860s before moving to Nairn where he died in 1874 I am not sure but I have a William Watson who was born in Glasgow in 1846 and was a 'Hawker' and sometimes described as a China Merchant. I think that you maybe tracing my William's father? William (jnr) married in 1866 to Ann Riach, found her death in 1915 in Rothes. Between 1866 and her death in the various census they travelled around the North of Scotland. Any links? Regards Dave
