    3. I am not sure whether I can help here but I have ancestral in-laws in Patrick & Margaret (n RIACH) TAYLOR who was baptised 7 May 1727, Botrephine, Banffshire, daughter of Janet (n BREMNER) & William RIACH. This is earlier and further north of where the research for John RIACH but I have several ancestral in-laws in Scotland, GAMMIE and LESLIE who migrated south to Aberdeenshire from Banffshire particularly during the 18th-19th centuries, and maybe also NICOL from Glamis to Dundee. I wonder whether other family history researchers have also come across this migration south? shalom Chris Christopher Ridings [email protected] > > ------------------------------ > > Message: 4 > Date: Fri, 18 Jan 2008 19:15:40 -0000 > From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [MORAY] Anderson & Riach SC > NS > To: <[email protected]> > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: lorraine354 > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.scotland.mor.general/250.1.1.2.1/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > hi charles > jjust wondering if you may be able to help me i am trying to trace > my ancesters do you have a jane ann anderson who married john riach > in July 1886 or her mother and father john and isabella in you list > anywhere any information would help if you have any about these people > thanks lorrained, this is not the right place to ask about them.
