Hello I just found where Samuel McKenzie Hawthorne lived, they lived at 35 Moycroft. I have been there. Where do you live? I live on Vancouver Island, BC Canada? I have just discovered in the last few months that Mary Ann was a McKenzie. She is Samuel's mother. We always thought she was a Geddes but her birth certificate says her father was Alexander McKenzie, her Mother was Jane Brodie Simpson. I have a picture somewhere of a couple celebrating their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Their name was McKenzie. The pieces of the puzzle are starting to come together slowly. I would bet we are related threw the McKenzie. Is there any information on Alexander McKenzie living in Moycroft or Jane Brodie Simpson? They never married why I do not know. They did have a child Mary Anne. Jane married George Geddes. Do you know of any McKenzie's who would have been very well respected who were bakers, in Moycroft who would have celebrated their 50th Anniversary. I belive this is my family.
