I am puzzled by this, because I have the death certificate of Elizabeth Stewart, widow, daughter of John Cruickshank and Isabella Cruickshank MS Cruickshank, who died 20 (not 26) January 1858 at Knockando. Copy attached. The baptism date you quote above matches that of Elizabeth, daughter of John C and Isabella C, baptised in Knockando. Also the 1851 census gives Thomas' Stewart/Stuart's place of birth as Knockando, not CI&A. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
