Further to what has been posted, I know that there are number of Estate Plans from the Gordon Estates with the National Archives of Scotland. The ones I have seen (which were made available at West Register Hous, but may well be held offsite) dated from 1770 -1810. The ones I was interested in were mostly in rural parts of the estate, and some included names of occupants of various farms. Gavin Bell
