> Could any lister advise me where Castle Gordon is located and > if anyone has > any info of names of staff who may have been employed there First of all, it's Gordon Castle, not Castle Gordon. It is just outside the village of Fochabers in the parish of Bellie, County of Moray. (No, NOT 'Moray County!). I am not aware of any publicly available lists of staff names, other than those who are recorded in the censuses. I am led to believe that the surviving estate archives are at Goodwood House, which is in the south of England, the home of the Dukes of Richmond and Gordon who owned Gordon Castle. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/browse.php?p=773459 for a map and photographs. Anne
