Shirley, George Geddes RUMBLES was born 29 Apr 1914 in Fordyce village, illeg son of Jane RUMBLES (at the time a domestic servant), dau of Peter RUMBLES & his second wife Ann McKIMMIE. Although I can speculate, I've not been able to identify the father, who is presumably named George GEDDES. Any hints from the RUMBLES point of view? Maybe the 1911 census for Jane RUMBLES might hold a clue? Howard Geddes
