Hello Melvyn, Reverrand was part of the Altyre Estate in the parish of Rafford. It gets several mentions in the book "Lochnavando No More". Going by the diagram in that book if you look at the current OS Explorer Map No. 423 then just to the west of Blackhills where it says "Forestry Cottages" then that roughly triangular shaped clearing in the Newtyle Forest is where it was.
