Also have you tried http://britishorigins.com/ It may be of interest to you, but I was married to Donald Malcolm Cameron, died June 1996. his family first arrived from Scotland to Maine, United States, then they settled in mid 1900's in Ohio. He still has two surviving brothers and a sister in Ohio and Indiana area. One was a Sherif in his County. But I have never worked on that family tree. However this information may help you search those two States.
