Hello Barbara, I know just how you feel! Anyone have parents for a James Duguid, last heard from at Auchindoir in 1780s? Father of Henry Duguid, born 1780, Auchindoir. I also will accept any and all suggestions as there are a dozen James Duguid (Do Ket for the uninitiated by the late Miss Anton of Banff)) in that right time frame. Back to the LDS tapes..... Pat, Sorry, no extra James Duguids, but I did have a John Gordon who was in Auchindoir in 1841 census. Cant find him before 1841 either. I have plenty of James Farquharsons around that 1835-38, none of them seem to be mine. I will accept any John Gordons who were 20 in 1841 who have no family, actually I'll accept any old strays at the moment. All my cats are strays, so my family may as well be the same.
