They have the best and more detailed information. Since Funeral homes are the ones who make the arrangements for burials, they have much more information than cemeteries. I had contacted cemeteries but did not get information, as I was told the cemetery I was inquiring about had suffered a fire in their offices and they did not have any records of my ancestor. However the funeral/memorial homes did have the records. I later learned that a funeral home/director handles several cemeteries in greater area. But cemeteries have only records of who is buried with limited information. I had the same problem finding links to the surname "McMills" Searching cemeteries did not help for me. However I came upon the idea that cemeteries only have list of burial sites and limited information. So... I contacted Fuenral Homes, Memorial Homes and Funeral Directors in the area. And found they have everything! Including the paper work listing the arrangements for burial by the survivors with names, addresses, etc. After I contacted a couple of funeral directors, I got a hit! I had only one ancestors name. But the funeral director sent me without charge or any fee at all, copies of the funeral arrangements! With the information they sent me, I learned the names of the survivors, their cities, and a lot more information. Good luck
