Thank you to all who responded to my posting "Why bother to collect a photograph". My own opinion is that in our busy lives we put things aside and on rediscovering them later are too embarrassed to make contact. I would encourage all who find themselves in that position to still follow through. Our hobby does have a timeless element to it but people do drop out and then the chance to link in to their hard won research may be permanently lost.
