Ian, Thanks for looking for James, unfortunately he is not mine. His parents are John Farquharson and Anne Stewart, my James parents were James Farquharson and Jane Grant, I think they were in Angus in the 41 census, only ones I've found that match in a few ways. My James was supposed to be in New Zealand by 1867, but cant prove it so far. If I dont find mine, I may claim this James as mine, I have a lot of his family as I thought he was mine and found his siblings etc. THEN, got the death certificate from New Zealand for my James and had to start again.
