I have been trying to find out what happened to Jemima Douglas b.n 1873 in Elgin Moray for quite some time. Just recently I was given a hint that on the 1901 Scottish Census she could be Jemima Brander which fits with her information. Only problem I have is I dont know the husbands name or if there where any children. Is there someone who maybe knows of this family that could help me find out if it is the same Jemima I am looking for. Her parents were James Douglas and Penuel Smith and she was illegitamate.
