My wife and I will be visiting the Nairn, Auldearn, Ardclach area this coming mid-September. After a decade of researching my Mackintosh ggg grandparents (without too much success), we will finally be looking at the area around Auldearn (Burnside of Lethen, etc.) where the Mackintoshes lived from at least 1841 through to 1902. Any advice on archives in the area (perhaps only in Aberdeen), parish churches, cemeteries, accommodations, ... anything, will be more than welcome. Thank you very much.
