Hello Angela, I believe I am right in saying that for searches for folk from Lossiemouth, you have to look under St. Andrews Lhanbryde or Elgin. Please correct me if I am wrong someone. I am myself trying to find where my great grandfather, Joseph Forsyth Taylor,(born 1861) had lived in Lossiemouth. He was said to have lived next door to Ramsay Macdonald and it would be nice to know if this was fact or fiction. Good luck, Tony Savery ----- Original Message ----- From: "Angela Kelly" <angkelly@aapt.net.au> To: <MORAY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, May 16, 2005 8:59 AM Subject: [MORAY] Geddes > Anyone have a connection to John GEDDES who married Margaret HENDERSON in > Lossiemouth in 1885. Hi Tony I believe Lossiemouth is in the Parish of Drainie, Moray. St Andrews Lhanbryd and Elgin are separate parishes which are nearby.
