I would not assume that - it can get very complicated indeed, especially when people don't realise that everything was subjected to a great upheaval in 1975. Actually the best guide is undoubtedly the details of parish boundaries and county boundaries in Banffshire at www.genuki.org.uk - follow the links through Scotland, to county, to parish. Anne
