William, My Innes ancestor was born in Glenlivet in about 1810 - Helen Innes. We believe her parents were John Innes and Sarah Welsted or Neilsted however we keep hitting a brick wall trying to find any info on them. We also believe that her father John was still alive when Helen died in the early 1860's. Have you come across any of these names before in your research?
